Job Overview

Hillview Motel in Vanderhoof, BC is hiring a Room Attendant to maintain the cleanliness and comfort of guest rooms and facilities. This role is essential in providing excellent guest experiences through detailed cleaning and customer service. Training will be provided for suitable candidates.

Key Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
• Dust furniture and vacuum carpets, area rugs, draperies, and upholstery.
• Make beds, change linens, and distribute fresh towels and toiletries.
• Stock and organize linen closets.
• Clean and disinfect bathrooms, kitchens, and fixtures.
• Wash windows, walls, and ceilings.
• Attend to guest requests and provide basic information about motel facilities.
• Handle lost and found items appropriately.
• Collect trash and maintain overall room cleanliness.
• Address customer concerns professionally.

Education & Experience

• No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
• Experience not required; employer will provide training.

Work Setting

• Hotel, motel, or resort environment.
• May also involve cleaning in commercial buildings, rural settings, and office spaces.
