This top notch bridal outfit is looking for an experienced Dress Patternmaker to join the Niagara Falls Team.

some of the duties and responsibilities of the succesful candidate will include:
Responsibilities
■ Be intentional and specific to draw, lay out and cut master pattern of product and or clients materials and fabrics.
■ Follow the Sharleez Bridal culture to create pattern size variations from master patterns using computer or drafting instruments
■ Be able to lay out master pattern on fabric and cut sample pattern
■ Scrutnize sketches, samples of articles and specifications of designs to determine number, size and shape of pattern parts and assess the amount of cloth required to make a product
■ Estimate the amount of material of fabric required to make a product
■ Mark size, identification, style and sewing instructions on sample patterns
■ Outline parts of patterns on paper and mark patterns to indicate details such as the placement of pockets and pleats on garments, decorative stitching on shoe parts or eyelets on canvas products
Qualifications/Competencies: Qualified candidates must have
■ College diploma or apprenticeship training
■ 1-2 years or more than 6 months of on-the job experience
■ Expertise in bridal gown and formal wear pattern making
■ Knowledge of fabrics used in the industry
■ Great customer service
■ Strong problem solving skills
■ Strong verbal communication
■ An upbeat personality
■ Able to work in a team environment
■ Great attention to detail
