Responsibilities

Tasks:

• Analyze budget to boost and maintain the restaurant’s profits

• Evaluate daily operations and monitor staff performance

• Plan and organize daily operations

• Set staff work schedules, supervise and train staff

• Balance cash and complete financial reports

• Conduct performance reviews

• Cost products and manage inventory

• Ensure health and safety regulations are followed

• Handle client negotiations and participate in marketing

• Address customer concerns and provide service

Supervision:

• 5–10 staff members

Credentials

Certificates:

• Safe Food Handling certificate

Computer Skills:

• Electronic cash register

• MS Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Office

• Point of sale system

• Spreadsheets

Work Conditions:

• Fast-paced, tight deadlines, physically demanding

• Requires multitasking, attention to detail

• Combination of sitting, standing, walking

• Standing for extended periods
